Cottage retreat with panoramic sea views, 10-min drive from St Ives
The house
Rosecott is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom holiday home with a living room, kitchenette, and private entrance. The property uses an upside-down layout, so the living space is upstairs to take advantage of the panoramic sea and lake views. A fireplace, TV with streaming services, and a selection of board games offer entertainment indoors.
Outdoor living
Guests have access to a garden with outdoor seating, a picnic area, and a barbecue for dining outside. The property includes a dedicated outdoor play area for children. Off-road parking for one car and street parking are available on site.
Kitchen & practical amenities
The kitchenette comes with a dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine for longer stays. A welcome package of local milk, saffron cake, 12 eggs, and a loaf of bread is provided on arrival. Ecover washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and laundry detergent are supplied as well.
Family-friendly extras
Baby safety gates and kids' outdoor play equipment are available for families with young children. Board games and puzzles are stored in the house for rainy days. Host Jenni supplies boogie boards and other beach equipment from the shed, saving car space.
Location & surrounding area
The cottage is 8 km from Carbis Bay and 11 km from St Michael's Mount, with Land's End Airport 22 km away. The drive to the property uses narrow Cornish lanes, so a small car is recommended. Hiking and mini golf are accessible within a short distance from the house.
